Welcome

Introit Jesus, draw me close, closer, Lord, to you. Let the world around me fade away. Jesus,
draw me close, closer, Lord, to you. For I desire to worship and obey. 2159

Call to Worship:
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Love of God be with us.
Christ has risen, Christ’s Spirit walks with us and we are not alone.
In the storms of life and the challenges that flood around us God is.
Christ, be our light! Shine in our hearts. Shine through the darkness.

Hymn “Jesus is All the World to Me” Red 627

Opening Prayer: (Unison) Praise you, O God, for walking and resting with us. Unite us in
your faith and help us to access our faith in each moment. (Please pray silently) Gracious God,
forgive us all our sins, known and unknown. Create in us clean hearts and ready spirits to follow
you, in Christ we pray. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon
Our sins are forgiven by the life, death and resurrection of our Lord Christ!
In Christ we have life and peace in all its fullness.

Response: There’s a song of love in my heart; love is a gift from Jesus. There’s a song of love
in my heart; love is a gift from God. Alleluia! Love in my heart is singing praises. Alleluia! Love
is a gift from God. 2141

Anthem: “A Time For All Things” D. Wagner

Sermon “It Grows and Becomes” Rev. Stuart C. Buisch

Creed In a broken and fearful world the Spirit gives us courage to pray without ceasing, to
witness among all peoples to Christ as Lord and Savior, to unmask idolatries in Church and
culture, to hear the voices of peoples long silenced, and to work with others for justice, freedom,
and peace. In gratitude to God, empowered by the Spirit, we strive to serve Christ in our daily
tasks and to live holy and joyful lives, even as we watch for God’s new heaven and new earth
praying, “Come, Lord Jesus!” BSF

Charge Go out into the world in peace; have courage; hold on to what is good; return no one evil

love and serve the Lord, rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Benediction May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the community
of the Holy Spirit be with us all evermore. Amen.

Song: Lord dismiss us with your blessing, fill our hearts with joy and peace; let us each, your
