Call to Worship:
The story of the ministry of Jesus Christ comes to a conclusion today in worship.
The encounter with the reality of Jesus Christ in our lives begins each new day.
Come Holy Spirit, Come! Let us worship God!

Hymn Now thank we all our God with heart and hands and voices, who wondrous things hath done, in whom this world rejoices; who, from our mothers’ arms, hath blessed us on our way with countless gifts of love, and still is ours today.
O may this bounteous God through all our life be near us, with ever joyful hearts and
blessed peace to cheer us; and keep us in God’s grace, and guide us when perplexed, and
free us from all ills in this world and the next. b555

Prayer of Confession: (Unison) Lord, we say that word and we think about our day and wonder how it works with us. Forgive us when we do not serve you as Lord (please pray silently). Gracious God, help us to hear the way you speak to us. Create in us clean hearts and ready spirits to follow you, in Christ we pray. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon
In Jesus Christ you are forgiven and set free to live for Him!
In Christ we are forgiven and set free to love and to serve God always!
Response: Give me a clean heart so I may serve thee. Lord, fix my heart so that I may be used by thee. For I’m not worthy of all those blessings. Give me a clean heart, and I’ll follow thee. 2133
Prayer for peace: Peacemaking God, pour your grace into our hearts and souls. Let it take
root in us and be a source of peace for those around us, In Christ we pray. Amen.
Prayer for Illumination: Spirit of God, unseen as the wind, gentle as is the dove. Teach us the truth and help us believe show us the Savior’s love.
