Requests/Ideas: An easy open Tupperware-like container for miscellaneous items. Chocolate either Hersey or the mix of 3 Musketeers, Snickers, Milky Way etc. (maybe a small amount of dark chocolate or Hersey with almonds) Stamps and all occasion cards with envelopes Soft Kleenex either single packs or cubes Toothbrush (soft, medium) and toothpaste any size Small flashlight or multi-purpose tool, Swiss Army-type knife Presbyterian Homes is also looking for an Auxiliary Helper that would be willing to join in on either Zoom calls (4 meetings a year) and review minutes.)
I was thinking we could have donations in by February 7th and I can deliver around the 11th so they can have them for Sunday morning, February 14th. Donations might be down this year because of church attendance but we can adjust when we get closer to the date.
At the present time there will be only one worship service on Sundays, and the Saturday service will be unchanged.
Please note the following recommendations
If you arrive prior to 10:45, please remain in your car.
Enter from the parking lot door, where a volunteer will ask you health questions and note your attendance.
Please wear a mask. Masks will be available if you need one.
If you use the Liftavator, wipes and disposable finger coverings will be available.
Please bring your own Bible and keep personal items (coats, umbrellas, etc.) with you as the doors to the parlor will be closed.
Please sit in open pews as indicated. Every other pew will be blocked off.
Please remain socially distanced from those not in your immediate circle.
Singing, even while wearing a mask, is discouraged
If you use the rest room please spray the sink and faucet with disinfectant spray.
Please exit from the main door.
Bulletin and sermon will be emailed and the services continue on Facebook and at our web site. We realize that these are difficult times for everyone and we remain prayerful and hopeful for the time when this pandemic is behind us. If there is anything else we can do to help, please let us know, thank you.
