How do you respond to God's word? Many in the western world are outraged by
power politics, autocracy, dictators.
How do we think of bowing down before God, or as John does, falling down in worship v 8?
It seems so simple, so straight-forward. Hear from God, worship. But in a world of abuse, harassment, strange notions of submission and even stranger manipulations how do we worship God today?
It seems to me the first thing that is necessary is to be able to stop. Notice. Pay attention. As our Christian Orthodox friends say, 'let us attend'.
vs 11 reminds us of the task before us. evil will go on, filthy will continue but we must as righteous do right, as children of God be holy.
